50th Anniversary String Celebration
Celebrate 50 years of KCMS music education with a special performance featuring current and former string faculty along with alumni, led by Sandra Wilmot! This joyful reunion brings together violin, viola, cello, bass, and more to honour the legacy of music education in our community!
Featuring works by: Schumann, Veracini, Vaughan-Williams, Holst, Elgar and Mozart
Performers: Lenna Barbaza (violin), Payton Kovatch (violin), Denis Letourneau (violin), Sandra Wilmot (violin), Peter Meyrick (viola), Benjamin Barbaza (cello), Martin Kratky (cello), Nicholas Covaser (double bass), Serafim Spekhalskiy (piano), Elizabeth Wocks (piano) as well as the KCMS Advanced Chamber String Orchestra led by Sandra Wilmot
$20 suggested donation. Proceeds to musicians.
